New to Pure Rhythm this year is 'Tiny Rhythmics' for ages 5-7 for 1½ hours on a Saturday. Two sets of classes are run at 10am and 11.30am in singing, drama and movement.

We are all excited about the new venture opening up in September 2007 where Sue Raven will be joined by Sarah Clarke. Sarah, who until recently ran the Tiny Rhythmics group, is a professional singing teacher and drama coach who gained a scholarship on the recommendation of Cameron Macintosh and trained for three years at the Guildford School of Acting. She has also studied Music Theatre and made her West End debut as Cosette (the female lead) in Les Miserables. Sarah is known to some of the children already as a private singing coach and with past Pure Rhythm Summer Schools.

The dance classes in the week are for a range of ages and abilities.

The Performing Arts School is divided into the three groups; 7 to 8, 9 to 10 and 11+ years. The morning is split between dance, drama and singing with each class run by experienced, qualified and professional teachers and performers. Guest teachers are also invited during the term to demonstrate and coach the students in their specialist skills from various disciplines of the performing arts arena.
