SUE RAVEN   ARAD, AISTD   PRINCIPAL

Sue is a former professional dancer trained in Cambridge from the age of 5, before going on to train at Bush Davies School, one of the UK's leading Ballet schools at the time.

After Bush Davies Sue embarked on a successful dance career, which took her to Spain, Italy, Portugal and Dubai. She danced in pop videos with bands such as Queen, performing with the legendary Freddie Mercury and choreographed by Arlene Phillips, appeared in TV commercials, fashion shows, pantomimes and TV work, including The Bill and London's Burning. Sue had her own dance act that worked as a support act for international stars like Jim Davidson and David Essex.

Pure Rhythm started through Sue wanting to share her passion for the performing arts and wanting children to be able to experience excellent training, which enables them to build in confidence and self esteem. A production is put on every year which every student takes part in and for many students it is the highlight of their year. Sue teaches Dance at Pure Rhythm.
